I’ve been designing and writing crochet patterns since 1998 and I have written about two dozen books. Ravelry lists over 650 crochet patterns so far. As of 2025, 200 of those patterns are in the Tunisian crochet technique, which according to Ravelry, is the highest number of Tunisian crochet patterns of any individual designer in the world. Wow! Yes, I do love Tunisian crochet most, but my patterns are about 1 in 4 being Tunisian, the rest being regular crochet.
