Rankings follow distance. Reviews stay exactly as makers wrote them.
We host reviews and we take shops’ money, so it’s worth saying where the wall is: partners get a clearer pin and a better page, never a nudge up the results and never a hidden review. That’s what keeps both worth having.
Questions
How did my shop get on here?
From public directories of yarn shops — the same open listings map apps use. We imported them so makers could find shops near them. Nothing on your listing came from us guessing.
Does claiming cost anything?
No, and it won't. Claiming gets you control of your own listing. Shop Partners is a separate paid tier you can ignore entirely.
What if the details are wrong?
That's the most common reason shops claim. Once you're verified you can correct the address, phone, website and hours yourself — or tell us and we'll fix it.
I don't want to be listed at all.
Then we'll remove you. Say so in the form and it comes down — no argument, no retention pitch.
How do you verify a claim?
A person checks each one against the shop's published contact details, so nobody can take over a listing that isn't theirs. It usually takes a couple of days.
