We put 9,265 yarn shops on the HoneyBee map so makers could find them. Yours is probably one of them — and the details are probably thinner than you’d write yourself. Claiming it is free.

Claimed shops stand out and stay labelled, so someone scanning their town sees you rather than an anonymous marker they have to tap. You come first in local results too.

Claimed shops carry their name on the map. The grey pins are how everyone else looks.
Photos, opening hours, the brands you stock, your classes and your own description — in place of an address and a postcode scraped from a public directory.

A window sticker and a printable card. Customers scan it at the counter and land on your page.
What makers in your region are saving and making, which weights and fibres are moving, and how it shifts by season. The thing you can't get anywhere else.
A window sticker and a printable QR code that opens your shop page. Customers scan it at the till and land on your listing.
Photos, opening hours, a description in your own words, the brands you stock, and your events — instead of an address scraped from a directory.
You stand out on the map and come first in local results, so makers find the real shop rather than a stale listing.
Free membership for the whole shop. You end up using the thing you're recommending, which makes recommending it a great deal easier.
Sit-and-knits, workshops, trunk shows — on your page and on the map, in front of makers who are already nearby.
Be a venue for local HoneyBee groups. Foot traffic for you on a quiet afternoon, and a room full of people who knit.
“Show this for 10% off.” It gives you sales you can actually attribute to us — the number that should decide whether you renew.
A link you can hand to happy customers. Reviews stay theirs to write and ours to show honestly.
We’d rather launch with eight things we genuinely do than fifteen we half-do. Stock listings — so a maker reading a pattern sees which shops near them carry the yarn — is what we want to build next.
Claiming your listing is free and stays free. Shop Partners adds the rest, billed once a year rather than monthly.

$79/year is the founding rate — it becomes $120 later, and if you join now yours stays at $79 for as long as you keep it. Claiming stays free either way, with no card needed.
Rankings follow distance. Reviews stay exactly as makers wrote them.
We host reviews and we take shops’ money, so it’s worth saying where the wall is: partners get a clearer pin and a better page, never a nudge up the results and never a hidden review. That’s what keeps both worth having.
From public directories of yarn shops — the same open listings map apps use. We imported them so makers could find shops near them. Nothing on your listing came from us guessing.
No, and it won't. Claiming gets you control of your own listing. Shop Partners is a separate paid tier you can ignore entirely.
That's the most common reason shops claim. Once you're verified you can correct the address, phone, website and hours yourself — or tell us and we'll fix it.
Then we'll remove you. Say so in the form and it comes down — no argument, no retention pitch.
A person checks each one against the shop's published contact details, so nobody can take over a listing that isn't theirs. It usually takes a couple of days.
Find your shop, tell us who you are, and it’s yours. Free, checked by a person, no card anywhere.
