This cuddly platypus amigurumi, Pluto the Platypus, is a variation of my original Phyllis the Platypus crochet design. The big difference is that this is an easy level crochet pattern, is quicker to crochet, and the end result is a lot bigger and cuddlier. This pattern uses a chunky chenille yarn instead of cotton dk. This platypus plushie does require being able to crochet in the round by starting with a magic circle or by crocheting a chain and working around the chain. As long as you are comfortable crocheting in the round, you should be able to crochet this platypus amigurumi.
