A modern knit-look beanie worked flat using yarn over slip stitches in the back loop only, avoiding the top bulk common in standard crochet hats. It is seamed securely along the back edge and tightly gathered at the upper crown. Made with Caron Simply Soft yarn (~190 yd) using a 5.0 mm hook.
