A thick, warm chunky ribbed winter beanie worked flat using half double crochet stitches in the back loop only to emulate a classic knit texture without a magic circle. The rectangle is joined into a cylinder with clean seaming and gathered at the crown. Made with Lions Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick super bulky yarn (~75 yd) using a 9.0 mm hook.
