Frogging is unraveling your crochet or knitting to undo mistakes or reclaim yarn — pulling the working yarn to rip out multiple rows at once. The name comes from 'rip it, rip it,' which sounds like a frog's croak.
Frogging is a normal part of every maker's life, not a failure. It's how you fix a miscounted row or repurpose yarn from a project you've abandoned. Ripping back a stitch or two at a time is called 'tinking' instead.
